While it’s old news to me but I realized I haven’t made mention of it on here yet – and we all know how much I love award shows! This blog is listed amongst the nominations for several Ninjamatics Canadian Weblog Awards. What makes it neat is that a jury of voters, who are bloggers themselves, that choose the winners based on different selected criteria which is given in more detail on the site. So it’s not based on popularity or stuffed ballet voting. This blog is up for Best Written Blog, Best General Interest Blog and Best Weblog about Pop Culture & Entertainment.
Last year, my very good acquaintance Ben received a few mentions and a win for his recently defunct (sad face) blog No Ordinary Rollercoaster. And looking through the list of other winners can result in some very fun blog discoveries that are local (no matter where you are in Canada) or country-wide.
