Canada votes in advance | The Canadian election is this Monday after a long campaign period and 3.6 million Canadians voted in the four days of advanced polls last week, a 71% increase over the last election. Could it mean a higher turnout at the polls on election day than last time? Only a few days to find out.

‘Homeland is racist’ | I like the show, as frustrating as Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes’ character) is, but the graffiti artists successful attempt at getting their art on the air, which translated to “Homeland is racist” among other things, is pretty impressive. There’s perhaps a certain irony to be had here that the show’s producers seemingly don’t have anyone on staff who would have been able to read that before filming, considering the show’s reliance on middle east turmoil.
