The Grammy Awards were handed out and probably the first time ever, the top artist of 2006 with the #1 song and the year took home major awards at the ceremony. The Dixie Chicks were the Artist of the Year on The Max in 2006 as well as having the #1 song of the year with Not Ready To Make Nice. They won a total of five awards including three for their huge song. That song continues to chart well into 2007 and this week rebounds in a big way (60-40*) with a new bullet in its 50th week on the chart.
Snow Patrol have three songs in the Top 40 this week. Their newest entry You're All I Have moves 41-36 while Chasing Cars is spending its last week, most likely, at #37. The former #1 hit Set The Fire To The Third Bar with Martha Wainwright remains at #4 for another week.
Pink moves into the Top 10 to score her fifth Top 10 single and second for the I'm Not Dead album. The song features the Indigo Girls, who had a hit back in 1998 with Sarah McLachlan and Jewel called Water Is Wide which hit #20.
Pink also enters the Top 100 this week with the fifth single from the album called Nobody Knows, which helps to give her a total of four songs inside this week's Top 100. Inaddition to the two previously mentioned, there's also U + Ur Hand (48-67) and Who Knows (79-91).
