Max Speak

Blue October get another Top 40 hit this week with the third release from Foiled. So far, the rock band have had one of the biggest hits of 2005 with Hate Me (80-95), which is in its 51st week on the chart this week. Into The Ocean fell off the Top 100 this week after 31 weeks on and a peak of #4 late last year. Their album hangs just below the Top 10 and they earn the week's Biggest Riser title with X Amount Of Words which moves 47-18*.

Last week, Pink had five songs inside the Top 100 at the same time, thanks to the entry of Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) (95-81). However, Who Knew falls out after 32 weeks on bringing the number of tracks she has back down to four. The highest of the four is Dear Mr. President which moves 7-5* to become her first Top 5 hit since 2002 when Don't Let Me Get Me spent a week at #1. Pink also enters the Top 40 with Nobody Knows (46-31*) as well.

Sondre Lerche hangs on to the #1 CD this week with Phantom Punch, which becomes his first album to hang on to the top spot for a second week as it receives a Gold certification. His single Say It All also leaps 29-15*, well on its way to becoming his third Top 10 hit. March is looking to be a big month for the Norwegien singer and thus he earns the Artist of the Month title.

Another artist to watch for in March are the Arcade Fire, whose album comes out on the 6th. The Montreal band also move 32-28 with Black Mirror and have two entries in the Top 100 as well. Intervention re-enters at #86 after already charting and peaking at #58 earlier this year and Keep The Car Running is new at #92. The album Neon Bible is expected to be #1 on next week's album chart.
