Max Speak

The entire Top 10 remains steady this week which is a chart oddity in itself. The only change within is that Nelly Furtado lost her bullet for All Good Things (Come To An End) (6-6). With that occuring, it can be assumed that #4 is the peak for that song. Should Nelly not regain or pass that peak, she will have had the four singles from Loose peak at numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Melissa McClelland has a third single from her CD Thumbelina's One Night Stand, featuring vocals from Greg Keeloer of Blue Rodeo. The song Skyway Bridge enters the chart at #34, beating the debut position for Passenger 24 but falling short of the #14 entrance for the album's first single You Know I Love You, Baby. Officially, Melissa has had eight songs make The Max chart with three of them peaking at #2 as well as a #1 hit, which was her first with Jaded back in 2004.

Pink returns to her previous peak of #29 this week with U + Ur Hand. Originally, the song hit #29 back in January and eventually fell out of the chart before returning courtesy of the Bimbo Jones Remix, which helped to bring the single back up with the possibility of it surpassing that and making a new high. This week the song logs 26 weeks on the chart as well.

Jann Arden gets a gold single this week with At Seventeen, following the platinum certification for Bring The Boys Home from earlier in the year. However, both songs fall out of the Top 100 this week. But Jann brings a new song into the chart. And by new I mean old. The song is a cover of the 1968 hit Son Of A Peacher Man, originally by Dusty Springfield. Jann's rendition of it enters at #76 this week.
