Another big week for August's Artist of the Month Tegan and Sara as they continue to hang on to the top of both the album and singles chart with The Con. That's five weeks for the single and four for the album. On top of that, the duo receives two Gold certifications for both The Con (song) and Back In Your Head along with a Double Platinum certification for their 2000 CD This Business Of Art, giving them their third multi-platinum Max certification following If It Was You and So Jealous.

Vega4 have the week's only entry with Life Is Beautiful, which does so in its 16th week on the chart. Also rising with many weeks on is Amy Winehouse, who moves 5-3* in her 23rd week on for Rehab. Pink also moves 15-12* with Who Knew in its 41st week on, nearly matching last year's peak of #9.
