The Story
Something about this song really pulls at my heartstrings. 25-year-old Brandi Carlile is the amazing vocalist behind this country/blues backed by rock song 'The Story'. I think she definately has some sort of a decent career ahead of her. Maybe not in the mainstream light but this girl can sing and she's only touching on the tip of the iceburg here. I'm definately interested in what else she has to share. The album doesn't come out until April so I'll have to stick with this song until then, which works for me.B03/24/07
Brandi Carlile first appeared on the scene with a song on the soundtrack to the movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants called Closer To You, which also featured Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield from 2005. That song didn't quite break her on the mainstream scene but her song The Story is doing a good job itself. A top 10 smash as her album enters at #1. 2007 is sure to be a big year for Brandi.
