This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race

The new Fall Out Boy song sounds like something out of the next Maroon 5 album. Groovy pop with guitars with some Panic! or something for the rockin' chorus. I think this song does set them aside for the time-being but it will be the overall sound of the entire album that will determine whether they will have any more success after that given to them by From Under The Cork Tree. This song might be their best yet but they will need a suitable followup.B01/15/07

Thnks Fr Th Mmrs

This song starts off with the dramaticness of a Panic! At The Disco! song but by the chorus, all is well. While not as accessible or catchy as This Ain't A Scene, the average head does have room for this song to be played around in and it probably won't burn out as quick as This Ain't A Scene obviously did. The chorus makes this song!B03/24/07

history

Fall Out Boy blasted onto The Max chart in late 2005 with the single Sugar, We're Goin' Down. At that point, it had already been a big pop and rock hit and they had moved on to their second single Dance Dance. Their first album entered The Max album chart at #3 and they achieved three hits from it. What will the second album bring? They're already got one hit from it so far.
