How To Save A Life
The Fray's second release How To Save A Life doesn't catch on right away. It's actually easy to just pass on the song after the first or second listen because there's not a lot about it to make it stand out. But because Over My Head was a good song that caught my ear, I wanted to like this track and I did after giving it a bit more time. It's slower in tempo than the first single and follows the same light-rock sound a la Lifehouse or Vertical Horizon. While there isn't much to set them apart from the other bands of the genre, this song is able to hold its own. B06/19/06
The Fray had a slow rise up with their first single Over My Head (Cable Car) but it eventually went on to hit #4 and opened the door for their next single, the title track to How To Save A Life. While still a new band, they are sure to have a long charting life with songs from their debut album.
