Goodnight And Go

I may be biased when I hear this song since it held a special meaning for me as I was becoming familiar with it after I had just picked up Imogen's CD Speak For Yourself. The song is about Imogen having a crush on someone she knows and she has grown to love this person and enjoys spending all of her time with them. In the bridge she's imagining a night alone with the person as they sleep separately until the heat conveniently gives out, resulting in both of them sleeping together. Imogen's protrayal of this is really amazing and I can't help but be mesmorized by her vocal stylings. Watching her perform this song alone too is pretty incredible as well as very fascinating. She gets a huge two thumbs up with this track. A05/20/06

history

Imogen Heap made her first appearance on The Max in April 2003 as part of the duo Frou Frou. The single Breathe In briefly charted for six weeks, peaking at #90. That was it until The Max returned in October of 2005 when Let Go was on the chart. Around that time, Imogen's CD Speak For Yourself was #1 and the track Headlock was quickly rising the singles chart. Since then, she has experienced three Top 5 singles, a hit from the movie The Chronicles Of Narnia and an album that has spent 7 weeks at #1.
