Bonnie And Clyde II
I'll keep this straight and simple. I absolutely love this song. If this isn't the breakthrough hit by the best new artist of the year, I REALLY want to hear the artist and song that overpasses it. I have never before given a 10/10 for a song in the 29 editions of this reviews series so if you know what's good for you, you'll listen for this song. MuchMoreMusic plays the video occationally. The CD is #1 on my to-buy list!

Take Me Back To Your Housewith Basement Jaxx
This track isn't a conventional dance song. How often do you hear a banjo over a dance beat? It's something only the Basement Jaxx could think up. This song is filled with fun lyrics and a very humourous- sounding chorus with vocals by the sultry and sweet Martina Sorbara (credited to Martina Bang for the song and video). Ultimately it was the music that really reeled me in as it takes place in what looks like northern Europe with Martina is the only female at a pub that has crazy dancing and what would be a fun place but Martina is playing the bored girl who wants to leave. This song must have been a lot of fun all around and it's really fun to listen to!

Despite having only one major label album to her name and technically, only one singer released as the main artist, Martina Sorbara has done very well on The Max chart. I admit that I cheated a bit with all of her chart appearances between the ten-week #1 Bonnie And Clyde II in 2002 and the Basement Jaxx recording Take Me Back To Your House in 2006 but even with those unofficial releases, Martina was still able to keep her presence on the chart, even making one visit on every yearend chart since her debut in 2002. Her album The Cure For Bad Deeds was ranked the #1 album of all time on The Max.
