Get This Party Started
The new song from Pink, Get That Party Started, does sound like Geri Halliwell, or some Europop/dance singer and song like people have said. It's too predictable though and although there is a clear hook, it's not as catchy as it could be. The chorus doesn't grab you. It's almost like the song is missing something. I predict a high chart run on national and international chart though so at least the song is going somewhere... I'll probably be sick of it pretty quickly, though. D11/20/01
Don't Let Me Get Me
Pink's voice reminds me of Tracy Bonham on this track. I think this style for Pink is much better than the usual pop/dance stuff. Although there are still obvious elements of pop on this song, she gives an honest attempt of making it more of a rock song. The chorus sounds like Pink being honest and it has feeling to it and the song itself sounds like it could have been pulled from 1997. Sounds like this could be one of those Summer thinker songs. We won't compare you to Britney Spears anymore, Pink. B03/02/02
Just Like A Pill
Coming off of the success that was Don't Let Me Get Me, Pink slows things down just alittle bit more with her new one. It's basically two lines for each of the two verses and then one prechorus and one chorus so it makes the song repetitive but it is pretty catchy and it should do half decent on the charts. It's not her best but it beats Get The Party Started. B06/22/02
Who Knew
Pink has had her share of decent songs in her career of four albums. Her direction, to me, seems very unfocused so it's somewhat difficult to figure out what songs are really hers and what songs aren't. This song, I think, is Pink, the way Family Portrait and Don't Let Me Get Me were. It has a good pop sound like Pink is capable of giving but seems to only do it once in a rare while. I know she has good songs but for some reason she has to come out with ones like Trouble and Stupid Girls because she wants to show off a side of her that really doesn't need to be there. If this song is Pink, then I like her. If it isn't, I don't need to hear any more. B08/06/06
Pink was always a hit-or-miss artist on The Max. The songs that managed to make the Top 10 did really well while the misses were, for the most part, were here and gone. She's slowly establishing herself as a valid artist on The Max and even if her popularity is waning, she should do well in the future on The Max.
