reviews
I Don't Feel Like Dancing

The new song from Ta-Dah, the second CD from the Scissor Sisters, sounds like 70s Elton John. And rightly so, as he co-wrote it and plays the piano. It's nice to see the present day and decades past connect through song once in a while. The Scissor Sisters are great in that they can make a song for any genre and it sounds great. 70s pop works especially well for them as is proven with this single. Their new CD sounds like a blast. It drops in October. B08/06/06

history

In 2004, the Scissor Sisters began their chartlife with a slow-rising single that suddenly picked up to peak at #3 in early 2005. That song was Take Your Mama and was the beginning for big things for the group of flamboyant Americans who were huge in Britain. Their debut self-titled album hit #2 on The Max album chart and gave an additional three Top 40 hits. With their second album, they are back with increased confidence and style and another #2 peak for 'Ta-Dah!' It's still the beginning!
