Throw It All Away[featuring Sia]

This is the type of song I would listen to once and then choose to pass over it anytime thereafter. Not because it's a bad song but because upon the first listen, there was nothing for me to latch onto to make it worthy of another listen. At least until a year later when I find myself hearing the song again and realize what I've been missing but also finding out that the song is being re-released again and that in the end, I can pretend that I've only just discovered the song. Fortunately for me, I took another listen to it and it has separated itself from past incidents. I like that the song doesn't have any overwelming qualities to it nor does it try to overpower the listener. I think it and Zero 7 could be in for a big year. A06/23/06

history

Zero 7 very briefly made the chart as far back as 2002 but it wasn't until 2005 when a song from the Garden State soundtrack got lots of attention by me. Of course it was In The Waiting Line. It was ineligible to chart at the time but it did help drive attention to their new single Throw It All Away, which became one of the biggest songs of 2006, and album The Garden, which spent three weeks at #1 from the getgo.
